We use locally grown and harvested white oak timbers in the structures we build. White oak is a beautifully grained wood that offers incredible strength. The timbers we select are then milled to exact specifications at a local mill. Timbers can also be crafted from other species including douglas fir and red oak. Have another timber type in mind? Whatever your personal tastes, we can match it with a variety of structural designs. Choose from traditional bracing or curved braces and chamfered edges. Elegant arches; large open living areas; large windowed areas, warm, inviting spaces are all hallmarks of a timber-framed structure.

You can also select the type of finish you would like. Choices include a rustic, natural appearance, ornamental brandings, carvings, and a variety of finishes.

If you decide to timber frame only a portion of your structure we can create a hybrid. This hybrid system incorporates the look of timbers while incorporating Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) and/or conventional framing.
